Re-Build-It Centre Ambassador

The Re-Build-It Centre thrift store is a vital part of WCSS and the greater community, supporting all social services through a circular economy model and waste diversion program. The Re-Build It Centre Ambassador role includes receiving, sorting, and selling of donations. This physical role includes customer service.

Re-Use-It Centre Ambassador

Permanent, Full-time

The Re-Use-It Centre Ambassador role is to receive, distribute, stock, and sell donations. Applicants will operate the cash register and must be able to lift 50lbs in a fast paced, physical role (standing, lifting, loud work spaces).
 
Successful candidates should anticipate supporting community members with diverse needs in a compassionate and empathetic way in this front-line, customer service role. The RUI Ambassador must be aware that they are the face of the organization and must have a passion for waste diversion.

Re-Build-It Centre Truck Driver

Temporary Part-Time

The Re-Build-It Centre (RBI) Truck Driver role is a pivotal role in our organization; driving company vehicles to support the RBI. This is a physical role and the successful candidate will coordinate furniture pickups/deliveries, manage waste diversion efforts, and maintain our recycling program. The successful candidate will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Record Check, a clean driver’s abstract and must hold a BC Driver’s License.

Security Camera System Upgrade

Whistler Community Services Society (WCSS) invites qualified vendors to submit proposals for the design, supply, installation, and ongoing support of an upgraded video surveillance system across two locations: Nesters Road and the Re-Build-It Centre on Lynham Road.

This project will replace aging infrastructure with a modern, scalable solution that enhances security, improves reliability, and supports future expansion.

Proposal Deadline: May 31, 2026
Anticipated Project Start: July 1, 2026
