Counselling Assistance

Who is it for?

Whistler residents who could benefit from clinical mental and emotional counselling.

Date & TIMES

Eligible applicants receive financial support toward the cost of 6-12 counselling sessions in a 12 month period.

This program is designed to support individuals with short term acute counselling needs which is on average 6 sessions in a 6 month period or in extenuating circumstances 12 sessions in a 12 month period.

What You Will Receive

  • Access to a clinical Counsellor for those who could otherwise not afford the cost.
  • Connect with a mental health professional in a safe and supportive space.
  • Learn skills to better manage your own mental health and become more resilient.
  • Access to subsidized clinical counseling based on your income eligibility
