On Tuesday September 13th, Whistler’s health care providers came together to celebrate the Rural BC Community Heath Award given to the town for its outstanding response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Attended by family practice physicians and staff from Vancouver Coastal Health, the Resort Municipality of Whistler, Whistler Medical Clinics, Whistler Health Care Centre, and Whistler Community Services Society; the evening was a celebration and reflection of how far our community has come in working towards one stop health care and the “social prescription”.
