Congratulations to all winners and runners up at the Whistler Excellence Awards put on by the Whistler Chamber of Commerce on October 25th at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. We are very proud that our very own Executive Director Extraordinaire Jackie Dickinson won the business person of the year award. This well deserved recognition sits alongside the nod to WCSS Director of Social Services Lisa Coulter, as a runner up in the Rising Star award category as well. It was also amazing to see the Ambassadors at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre receive the citizen of the year award – great recognition for the learning they all share with residents and visitors on these unceded and shared territories.
