This year’s campaign aims to raise $60K for WCSS mental health and wellness programs.
Whistler’s biggest winter walk for mental health is back—and this year, it’s kicking off with a new start time and a bold fundraising goal.
The Whistler Community Services Society (WCSS) will host its fourth annual Nightwalk on Thursday, Jan. 29 at 6 p.m., starting and ending at the WCSS offices at 8000 Nesters Road. The five-kilometre trek takes participants along the Valley Trail and through Whistler Village for an evening of solidarity, awareness and support.
“Through donation pledges and advocacy, participants will walk with purpose, breaking down the stigma and biases associated with seeking mental and emotional health support,” WCSS organizers wrote.
This year’s campaign aims to raise $60,000 for WCSS mental health and wellness programs.
Everyone is welcome at this all-ages event. Participants are encouraged to wear bright clothing, bring headlamps, and walk for those struggling with mental health.
