Whistler Community Services Society (WCSS) was honoured to be chosen by the Squamish Community Foundation as a 2026 Annual Grant recipient for our work in Harm Reduction at the Squamish Overdose Prevention Site.
The Squamish Reporter states,
“…this year’s grants will support youth development, environmental stewardship, music and performing arts, health and wellbeing, accessibility, food security, recreation, and community connection.
“These grants reflect the generosity of local donors and the dedication of organizations working every day to strengthen Squamish,” said Karen Clarke, executive director of the Squamish Community Foundation. “We are proud to support projects and programs that respond to community needs and create lasting local impact.”
“According to the news release, SCF received a record 29 applications in 2026, requesting a total of $172,000 in funding. With $40,400 available, the foundation funded 18 organizations.”
