Who is it for?

Financially restricted Whistler families and individuals. Available to Whistler Residents who have lived here for 6 months plus.

Date & TIMES

The program is offered year-round and applicants can apply once per year.

What You Will Receive

  • Outreach worker support to review program criteria and eligibility.
  • $155 to cover the 20 session pass.
  • Credit can be used toward gym membership, swimming, skating, yoga and other group classes offered at the Meadow Park Sports Centre.
  • Credit can also be used toward the cost of monthly membership or other eligible programs (see below).

Eligible Programs and Services

  • MPSC and Lost Lake Nordic Trails (LLNT) individual memberships
  • Swim lessons and lifeguard programs
  • Early years and children's programs
  • Included fitness classes (with membership purchase only)

Non-Eligible Programs and Services

  • Licensed programs: Kids on the Go (KOTG) and summer camps
  • DUAL Area Nordic Pass
  • Single admission and family memberships - MPSC and LLNT
  • Pro-shop items, bus passes or rentals
  • Registered and flex reg group fitness classes
  • Speciality fitness services and third party programs

To Qualify, Applicants must be able to show

1. Government issued photo ID for each adult (19 years+) in the household.

2. Proof of residency in Whistler for the previous 6 months by one of the following options:

– Current lease agreement/rental agreement
– Hydro bill
– T4 tax form

3. Gross household income is under the program threshold ($40,000 for a single person) by one of the following options:

– Notice of Assessment(s), or 6 months of pay stubs, or T4
– Final subsidy notice from Ministry of Social Services.
