Save-the-date for the Whistler Emergency Services Christmas Food and Toy Drive.
The Sea to Sky Whistler RCMP will host the fourth annual Emergency Services Christmas Food and Toy Drive in front of Fresh Street Market in Marketplace, Whistler, on Thursday, November 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All food and toys will be donated to the Whistler Community Services Society (WCSS) for distribution to the Whistler Food Bank and WCSS Holiday Helper program.
“We are thrilled to be once again working with our emergency services partners, including Whistler Fire Services and BC Ambulance Service, to support the Whistler Food Bank and Whistler Community Services during what can be a difficult season for some,” said Corporal Katrina Boehmer, Media Relations Officer for Sea to Sky Whistler RCMP.
Sea to Sky Whistler RCMP is asking the public to save the date and plan to attend this incredible community event! Please come by and join your local police officers, firefighters, and ambulance paramedics in filling our emergency service vehicles with donations! Donations can be made in the form of:
- New toys
- Non-perishable food items
- Gift cards
- Cash/Monetary donations (a Square card reader will be made available by WCSS)
We are expecting some very special guests to attend, including an RCMP police officer in Red Serge, RCMP Officer Safety Bear, Fire Officer Sparky, and possibly even Santa himself!
If you are unable to attend the food and toy drive on November 28, 2024, donation items can be dropped off at the RCMP Detachment’s front counter at 4315 Blackcomb Way, Whistler. Let’s show our community spirit by challenging our friends, family and co-workers to support this very important cause!
