WCSS Opens Cold Weather Shelter In New Location


This past weekend saw temperatures plummet to well below -10 degrees triggering the need for a cold weather shelter in Whistler to support those who are underhoused or at risk of homelessness. With support workers on shift overnight, communty members seeking respite from the cold tempuratures have a safe and welcome place to spend the night, remain warm, and avoid possible negative health outcomes due to exposure.
