The Food Skills and Nutrition Program assists low income families or mature adults (50+) to access Farmer’s Market coupons on a weekly basis from May to October.
In return, participants agree to attend a series of workshops or one-on-one meetings to increase their understanding of eating a well-balanced diet or share their knowledge with others.
Workshop topics may include: Gardening 101, Canning Foods, Quick and Easy Meals and more. The program is designed to be as flexible as possible to allow for busy schedules. Space is limited so sign up early.
